Dawsons Doubles LLC does not sell your info or let others use it. We only use it to administer our site including troubleshooting and statistical purposes; to improve our site to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer; and to implement security and debugging as part of our efforts to keep our site safe and secure.
Terms & Conditions
PAYMENT:
CASHIERS CHECKS or POSTAL MONEY ORDERS should be payable to DAWSONS DOUBLES. ADD $50 for UPS ground insured shipping. PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 10 DAYS and be accompanied by an FFL (Federal Firearms License) to whom we will send the item. All guns will be shipped to a FEDERAL FIREARMS LICENSED DEALER.
TEXAS residents must add 8.25% sales tax.
A restocking fee of 10% will be charged for each returned item regardless of the site from which it was purchased. A 4% fee will be added to all credit and debit card purchases.

SHIPPING:
$50 UPS REGULAR GROUND INSURED
US sales only. Shipping, insurance, and handling is $50 to lower 48 states. AK & HI extra. Long guns – UPS Insured Ground. Handguns – UPS insured Ground. Tracking numbers will be provided upon request. We will ship the same or next day after payment and FFL are received. NEXT DAY AND PRIORITY UPS SHIPPING is available for an additional cost please call if you need to upgrade.
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION:
We have a 3 day inspection period, for a refund, you are to inspect(not shoot) the item. The 3 day return period starts the day the FFL dealer receives the item. Within this 3 day period you need to notify us, by telephone, and email, as to why your are returning the item. Upon inspection, if item is not as described or damaged in transit, call us immediately at (630) 936-7487. On return items, call us first. Must be shipped back by UPS insured no later than the 3rd day it is received by the dealer. On returns you pay postage both ways.
If an item is damaged in shipment, have the FFL dealer call us immediately and they MUST save all packaging material and box/case. All returned items must be returned in the same condition as they were received. Shipping and credit card fees are non refundable and there is a 10% restocking charge on ALL returned items. All layaway sales are final and there are no refunds.
Returns require prior authorization.
Layaway is available with 1/3 down of final total price including shipping, insurance, and all fees, within 7 days. Balance is due in 60 days. Layaways are FINAL with no refunds, no inspections and no returns.
CONSIGNMENTS:
We welcome the opportunity to sell your guns by consignment for a 10% commission of the final sale. There will be a $50.00 listing fee per gun. If for some reason you would want the gun returned to you, you will have the $50 fee plus shipping to your FFL dealer. We list your guns on multiple websites, research the gun for pricing and special features, take twelve pictures for internet listing, and confer with you on the bottom and top price you will take. We will send you our FEDERAL FIREARMS LICENSE so you can send us your guns. You will get a receipt for each gun, by serial number. We have $500,000 insurance, so your guns are covered. You are paid within three days of the customer accepting the gun. You can maximize your dollar return by using our consignment program.
WARRANTY:
All firearms are sold “as is” with no warranty either expressed or implied. All guns are sold as antiques or collector’s items and are not guaranteed as safe or intended for actual use unless inspected by a competent gun smith. Purchasers assume all liability for any firearms or merchandise purchased from DAWSONS DOUBLES LLC. All firearms will require shipping to a licensed dealer. A signed copy of the Federal Firearms license(FFL) must be sent to Dawsons Doubles before the firearm can be shipped.
